Use a Bus Assignment block to replace one or more signals in the signal that is connected to its Bus input. You will get some bits off the opposite value because of the bit-stuffing function of the CAN protocol.

Hi everyone…

Iam doing Experiments in CAN for a feasibility study.

Iam using TMS320f2812 DSP and I program it to transmit message at 1Mbps.

I load the data register value zero. And message ID of value 0x9999999.I configured the CAN controller by connecting the CANTX and CANRX and measuring the signal at CANTX terminal using a Cathode Ray Oscilloscope(CRO).

I got the Waveform as shown below:

Even though the Data value is 0,Iam getting some recessive bits in Data part of the waveform instead of the dominant ones.

Does any one has encountered such problem before???
